How Much Does CoolSculpting Cost?
CoolSculpting treatment at our Plymouth practice costs between $2,000 and $4,000 on average. We understand that the out-of-pocket costs associated with body contouring procedures can be considerable, so we gladly offer flexible financing through CareCredit®. It is important to view CoolSculpting and other cosmetic procedures as an investment in yourself and your quality of life. Looking and feeling your best is truly invaluable and can pay off in countless ways in your personal and professional life.
What It Will Not Do...
This procedure is not intended to be a weight-loss treatment, but rather a way to improve definition in a specific area of the body. While patients often see a substantial fat reduction, CoolSculpting is not an alternative to diet and exercise and should be used in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle for the best results. The procedure is only effective on fat cells and will not correct skin irregularity or sagging. Patients looking for sizable fat reduction or tightening of loose skin may be better suited for liposuction or another surgical procedure designed for more dramatic enhancement.

Candidates for CoolSculpting
Type of Fat
CoolSculpting treatment targets subcutaneous fat cells, the frustrating pinch-able layer often found on the upper arms or midsection. Unfortunately, treatment will not work on visceral fat, which is located more deeply underneath layers of muscle.
The best candidates have good overall health and are not pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant in the near future. While your BMI doesn't necessarily disqualify you from treatment, men and women with a healthy BMI tend to see the best results.
Goals and Expectations
Patients should have realistic expectations for their treatment and understand the limitations of nonsurgical body contouring. If your goal is to eliminate a more significant amount of fat, you may want to consider liposuction. While Coolsculpting does not involve any downtime, the effects will not become apparent as fast as liposuction, so don't expect results within a highly limited timeframe.
What To Expect During Treatment
Day of Procedure
Treatment typically takes between 30 minutes to an hour depending on the size of the area.
