Breast Lift Benefits
A Restored Feminine Figure
By lifting your bust and removing excess skin and fat, Dr. Peng can restore your perky bustline, improving breast symmetry and enhancing your feminine curves.
Sagging breasts can rub the underlying skin and lead to chafing. A breast lift removes the excess skin and fat to eliminate the chafing and irritation caused by drooping breasts.
You can feel more confident and comfortable following your breast lift procedure. Clothes will hug you in all the right places, and you'll be ready to step into the world with a new sense of confidence.
Many Women Turn to Mastopexy
From 2000 to 2019, the number of breast lifts performed in America each year has more than doubled. During this time, Dr. Peng has performed life-changing lifts for many patients throughout the Plymouth and Minneapolis area.
Breast Lift Surgical Options Which Incision Type Is Right For You?
This incision type is best for plastic surgery patients with naturally smaller breasts and minimal sagging. One incision is made around the areola, which results in a small scar that is well concealed.
This incision type is best for patients who need a more dramatic lift. Dr. Peng will make three incisions; one around the areola, one down the breast, and one horizontally along your natural breast crease.

How Our Plastic Surgeon Became Board-Certified
Choosing the right plastic surgeon to perform your mastopexy isn't an easy choice. Fortunately, board certification is a prestigious distinction that can narrow your search for a plastic surgeon who can deliver the results you want.
Dr. Peng earned her certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. To achieve this great honor, she had to pass difficult written and oral examinations that proved her knowledge and skill. Surgeons don't have to be board-certified, but choosing one who has earned this distinction makes it more likely that you will achieve an outcome that meets your goals.

We welcome patients from throughout Greater Minneapolis and Plymouth, MN.
The Recovery Process
Slight pain and discomfort are expected following a breast lift. Either prescription or over-the-counter medication can help you manage your pain.
Swelling is expected following a breast lift. Our plastic surgeon will give you compression garments to wear during the first few weeks after surgery to minimize inflammation.
You should rest and perform only non-strenuous physical activity immediately following your plastic surgery. Avoid bending over and lifting anything that would strain your chest. You should wait at least six weeks before doing any strenuous exercise. However, taking short periodic walks in the days following surgery is recommended as a way to lower the risks of complications during this time.
Patients will start to see their results at around six weeks when the swelling and bruising start to subside. Full results can start to be seen around three months. It could take up to a year for swelling to completely subside.
The Cost of a Breast Lift
For a typical breast lift with no added procedures like breast augmentation, your cost could be between $7,000 and $9,000. The cost of your mastopexy will depend on your cosmetic goals.
Our Minnetonka, MN, practice offers flexible financing through CareCredit® that allows our patients to pay for their life-changing procedures in manageable monthly payments.

Combining a Breast Lift with Other Breast Procedures
A breast lift only addresses sagging, while a breast reduction primarily involves removing tissue from breasts that are overly large. Breast implants enhance the size, shape, and projection of the breasts. Depending on what you want to achieve, these procedures can be performed alone or in a custom combination.
During your consultation with Dr. Peng, we want you to be very specific about the outcome you desire. Dr. Peng can note your goals in order to determine which type of procedure — or combination of procedures — is right for you. We serve patients throughout Greater Minneapolis and Plymouth, MN.
